Full Life Hormone

Medical Wellness Brand Identity Design + Logo Design + Landing Page Design

After seeing previous work I've done in the medical wellness industry, the owners of Full Life Hormone reached out about their new hormone therapy company. They were looking for a brand identity and logo to help launch their new business venture.

Designing a brand for their new business venture to present to investors

Modern. Contemporary. Professional.

After our initial brand kickoff meeting, I got to work on creating two different design concepts around their brand drivers "modern, contemporary, professional." Keeping these drivers in mind while incorporating design elements such as DNA chains, hormone links, water, circle of life, and filling up, I created two design concepts that hit on most of the things they were looking for with their new brand.

Finalizing their new logo with minimal edits

After presenting them with two logo concepts, they chose the first one with minimal edits; simply changing out their tagline to reflect their ever-evolving new company. Overall, they felt this logo felt more in line with what they were focused on – hormone therapy. The icon to them represented DNA strands with hormone structures, which fit with their overall goals for their new company.

Adding flexibility to their logo to have their tagline and location as needed

In further discussions with them, they wanted their logo to be flexible so that they could have various ways to present their logo. They wanted to make sure their tagline was in their logo but sometimes that wasn't always feasible in every use case. The same held true for their location as well. I worked with their new brand identity to show them three ways in which their logo, tagline, and location could all coexist or be used independently. In the end, they now have four different layouts for their logo: logo only, logo with tagline, logo with location, and logo with tagline and location.

Creating a brand identity style guide to influence future brand identity usage

Once we finalized all the ways their new logo and brand identity would function, I created a brand identity design guide that outlined everything from their different logo layouts, to their colors and typography, to how to present their logo with light and dark backgrounds (as shown in the image), and how not to use their logo.

Brand identity style guides are incredibly important in order to keep a brand identity in the best light and to guide design decisions. Their guide helped them know how to use which logo in different use cases and make sure all colors and layouts worked regardless of their needs.

Designing their first piece of marketing collateral using their new brand identity

The first and main thing they needed with their new logo was their business cards. I took their new brand identity and expanded upon it to come up with unique and eye catching business card designs concepts taking into account their brand drivers and the feedback during the brand identity process.

Finalizing their business card design and prepping for print

In the end, they opted for a slightly simpler version of their business cards, including a solid color back without the logo icon watermark in the background. In addition, we moved their contact information over on the card to make it easier to read and nore concise.

Designing and developing their landing page as they worked on getting their startup up and running

As they worked through the business end of getting their new startup established, they wanted to have some sort of public-facing web presence while they built their website behind the scenes. I took their new brand identity and created a simple landing page to help explain who they are, what they do, and how to contact them. After a couple of revisions, the landing page design was complete, and I developed it using WordPress (to set the stage for their future website) and launched on their server.
